It's the perfect alternative for original and rockin' music that is not just for children but for the entire family to enjoy. Leah White frequently calls it the "Shrek" version of kid's music because both parents enjoy it as well as the kiddos. The music is unique in that it is original, lyrically witty and has an adult sound. Leah has said, "I have many moms confess that they find themselves driving around and listening to my cd after they drop off their kids."

Beetle

The Norma Zenteno Band
4:15 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.

click to enlargeThe The Norma Zenteno Band features sultry vocals, top notch Latin grooves, and stellar musicianship to generate excitement and action on the dance floor. Norma, and her brother Javier, continue the legacy as Houston's first family of salsa started by their father and acclaimed trumpeter Roberto Zenteno. While merengues, salsa, cumbias and cha chas are the foundation of the Norma Zenteno Band, they also keep their audiences engaged with a wide variety of funk, rhythm & blues, jazz and rock and roll dance numbers.
