Greenest Team Competition
All teams registered for the Earth Day Houston 5k will compete for the Greenest Team Award. When you register, you will have an opportunity to show how you care about clean air by pledging to sponsor Ozone Theater, taking public transportation or carpooling, and recycling your old running shoes.

The team that is judged based on their pledges to have made the best commitment to clean air will be selected as the Greenest Team. The award for the Greenest Team will be an original art piece by Austin artist Tony Romano. Mr. Romano uses salvaged, found, and recycled material to create ingenious, whimsical sculptures.
