The Green Expo at Earth Day Houston offers your business the outstanding opportunity to present your products to the rapidly growing green market at Houston’s largest free celebration of the nation’s 41st anniversary of Earth Day in 2011 at Discovery Green.

Earth Day Houston is the city’s official Party for Our Planet held on Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Earth Day Houston celebrates a day of family entertainment, environmental education, and the Green Expo!

The FREE one-day celebration will focus on the merits of mindful, sustainable living while educating and encouraging Houstonians to preserve, conserve and enhance our city and the Earth. Developed by Air Alliance Houston 3 years ago (formerly Galveston-Houston Association for Smog Prevention (GHASP) and Mothers for Clean Air), Earth Day Houston is a collaboration with the City of Houston and various green nonprofit agencies.

Planned activities include the Earth Zone featuring interactive environmental awareness activities highlighting land, air, water, and renewable energy, a Farmer’s Market in support of locally-grown produce, the Kids Energy Zone and stage, and the Eco Landscape Zone. In addition, recycled art projects and live musical entertainment will round out the day.
